Let’s start with Jennifer Lawrence, what a beauty. The young 20 year old nominee for Best Actress was the first girl on the red carpet. I love love love Calvin Klein this year, they proved to the world something i’ve always believed in, the more of a minimalist you are, the sexier you look. Look at her, she is perfect! Very little went the whole way, i absoultely loved her in this dress.

Hallie Steinfeld. Holy fuck. I have never ever seen more class, sophistication, and well, gorgeous all rolled up in one 14 year old girl. She is beautiful. Loved her simple hairstyle, wasn’t crazy on the headband, but it kind of works. Her shoes are to die for! Steinfeld helped design this gorgeous Marchesa dress, & i love that she went for something so classy. That’s what i loved about the Oscars this year, everyone was super classy. We need younger actors like her to show that you don’t need you chest popping out or your skirt stretched against your butt to be beautiful. I really loved her last night.

Okay so, I saw this on a ‘Worst-Dressed’ list today and i’m like, you have to be kidding me. She looks better than she has in years! When i first saw this dress last night, i wanted it for myself. This Monique Lhuillier gown is stunning. I love the chest piece, which looks like it’s been sprayed on her body, I find the effect beautiful. Her coral lipstick and her well-defined eyebrows make her gorgeous face stand out, making what would be a very soft outfit stand out. I think she fucking rocked this.

Mila Kunis, the babe of all babes. Personally, Megan Fox has nothing compared on her. Not only is she a better actress, she look amazing in anything she puts on, not to mention classy. Sure, Fox looks good with her killer body in any skin-tight dress she puts on, but Kunis keeps it collected in anything, and she can probably breathe better (i also just don’t find Megan Fox appealing both in looks and personally as well as acting career, I have the biggest crush ever on Mila) This Elie Saab (swoon.) dress is perfect for Mila. She’s been wearing a lot of jeweled dark tones on the red carpets this season, and i love that she went for a light lavender color to contrast against her dark brown hair. She looks perfect. With Elie Saab you can never go wrong.

CATE FUCKING BLANCHETT. oh my god, this is couture. This Givenchy was my favorite the whole night. If we could dress like this everyday, I would. I would take this dress from Cate, and wear it everywhere. This is fashion, this is something a goddess would wear, (and let’s face it, Cate is a goddess) she looks gorgeous here, with her blond hair cropped in a simple bob and not so much make-up. Definitely a winner.
Among my least favorites were Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, and Melissa Leo. And was Scarlet’s dress a curtain or an actual dress? Hmm, still debating on it.

death cab for cutie is my favorite band, no matter what. i love Ben Gibbard’s vocals and everything combined to make me feel like i’m in the middle of the universe lying in a bed with fresh silk sheets & the lyrics come out of the pages, and are surrounding me, written in stardust. it makes me feel in love.
